Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a premier Minneapolis law firm to recruit a Business Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience and a federal judicial clerkship. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly regarded litigation practice representing clients in complex commercial disputes, shareholder litigation, contract matters, business torts, class actions, and other high-stakes litigation in state and federal courts.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer, strategic thinker, and skilled advocate with experience handling sophisticated business litigation matters and a desire to work closely with clients and partners on challenging legal issues.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in a wide range of complex business and commercial litigation matters.
  • Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings.
  • Conduct legal research and develop innovative litigation strategies.
  • Manage discovery, including document review, written discovery, and depositions.
  • Prepare witnesses and experts for depositions, hearings, and trial.
  • Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
  • Collaborate directly with clients on case strategy and business objectives.
  • Assist with trial preparation and appeals in state and federal courts.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active Minnesota law license or ability to become licensed in Minnesota.
  • 3-7 years of business, commercial, or complex litigation experience from a law firm environment.
  • Completion of a federal judicial clerkship required.
  • Outstanding legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience drafting dispositive motions and managing discovery.
  • Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
